#6 - test drive

Here's a tune on banjo #6 - a simple straight arrangement of Red Prairie Dawn, sitting at the workbench.




This banjo, like the last one, has a lovely plunky sound - quite mellow and warm. I think that's because the tulipwood is relatively soft.


As I make more banjos I'm enjoying learning what subtle differences the materials and shape make to the way the instrument eventually sounds.
